Activities in the area:

Between Haarlem, Hoofddorp and Amsterdam you will find the recreational areas of Spaarnwoude. It is an oasis of green where you can experience everything. For example, you can enjoy walking and cycling, climbing, horseback riding, skiing and paintballing.

In the Green Meadow is the Big Spotters Hill, this pyramid-shaped hill with fantastic views over the Haarlemmermeer is popular for a solid hill training. In the summer the areas are the perfect backdrop for festivals and at Informatieboerderij Zorgvrij there is plenty to do all year round.

North Sea Coast

The North Sea coast and beaches of Zandvoort, Bloemendaal aan Zee, IJmuiden, Wijk aan Zee and Castricum are very close. From IJmuiden you can make a very nice coastal walk through the surf towards Zandvoort.

Golf

The bungalows are located right next to the Public Golf Course Spaarnwoude. But also close to the Houtrak, Amsterdam Golf Club and the Heemskerkse.

Cycling, sailing and walking

It doesn’t get any more Dutch than this. The result of centuries of reclamation is a polder landscape with grazing cows, ring dikes, canals, cheese-cover farmhouses and swaying reeds. In the immediate vicinity of Spaarnwoude you will find the most beautiful cycling routes, sailing routes and hiking trails.
